Configuration

A standard Joomla mambot called 'LoadModulePositions' is used to display the Imageflow module in an article. It's function is to load a module into an article wherever you place the phrase {mosloadposition xxx } inside the article's contents. xxx is the module position of the module to load. All modules with a module position value of xxx will be loaded at that point in the article. To guarantee that only the ImageFlow module is loaded, a unique module position needs to be defined.

In the administrative menu click on the Site | Template Manager | Module Positions menu item.

This will bring up the Module Positions screen. Here you can see all the different module positions that are already defined.

Find the first blank entry on the screen and enter a new unique module position and click Save. I used the original value of 'imageflow'.

Configuration of ImageFlow for Joomla is done through the Site Module Manager. Click on the Modules | Site Modules menu item.

This will bring up the module manager. Locate the 'ImageFlow' module in the list of modules and click on it to edit it's parameters.

The ImageFlow module parameters will be displayed in the Module edit screen. In the details section, select 'Yes' in the 'Published' item. This will publish the module for use by Joomla. The 'Position' item displays as a dropdown list of positions that you can select to tell Joomla where you want the module displayed in the current default template. Here we want to select the unique module position that we created above. The 'Show title' option is a matter of taste. If you leave it set to 'Yes', the value in Title will be displayed above the module output in the article. A value of 'No' will suppress the title.

The remaining module parameters (shown below) control where Imageflow gets the images to be included in the gallery, various options defining how the thumbnails are generated as well as several behavioral attributes of the gallery.  Click on the Configuration menu item above to get more detailed information regarding these settings.
